One-Day Trip: From Cairo to the Magic of the White Desert

Get ready for an exceptional day where you’ll be disconnected from the world and experience something unlike any other. We’ll start our trip very early, departing from Cairo between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. in air-conditioned four-wheel-drive vehicles equipped with all the comforts. We’ll head toward the Bahariya Oasis, approximately 340 km away, and our first stop after a four-hour drive.

First Stop: Bahariya Oasis
A tranquil and enchanting oasis nestled amidst hills of black rock formed over millions of years. It’s home to more than 390 natural wells, including mineral and sulfur water, some of which are known for their therapeutic properties for bone and joint ailments. We’ll stop there for a short rest and enjoy a traditional Bedouin lunch surrounded by nature. Depending on the trip, we’ll begin our adventure.

After lunch, we’ll begin our adventure:
* The Black Desert: We’ll walk amidst volcanic mountains and deep-black rocks, climb Mount Marsous, and take photos above it with a breathtaking panorama. • Crystal Mountain: A must-see stop – a mountain full of natural crystals that glitter under the sun like precious stones.
* Wadi al-Aqabah: A wide, sandy valley, perfect for photography. For those who love sandboarding, this is their chance!

Next, we’ll reach the star of the trip: the White Desert. Strange, 100% natural rock formations, white as chalk, sculpted by the wind and sand into mushroom shapes, along with camels and human faces – like an open-air museum under the stars. Here, we’ll wander between five or six of the most famous landmarks, taking pictures and immersing ourselves in the moment.

Overnight and Bedouin Experience:
* We’ll arrive at the campsite, where we’ll let you watch the sunset and take pictures amidst a scene unlike any other in the world.
* We’ll prepare dinner – a hearty, hot Bedouin meal.
* At night, a Bedouin party, featuring drums, a singer, and dancing around a fire amidst the desert and stars.

Accommodation:

* Regular Camp: Simple Bedouin tents, but an authentic experience surrounded by nature.

The Next Day:
* Breakfast is around 7:00 AM.
* Then we head back.
* Before returning to Cairo, we pass Bir al-Haiz – a warm sulfur spring where people bathe to heal arthritis and bone pain. Don’t forget to bring swimwear.
